Leaves on the Water

These plates were made by casting coloured shards with clear glass into a mould. These were then refired with the leaf forms on the surface. The third firing dropped this disk into a plate mould.

You can feel the texture of the leaves on the surface of the plate.

Blown, cut and cast glass.
